These bags were quite sturdy for my purposes (no more than 5 lbs gift). I do wish there was 2 pieces of tissue paper per bag, because sometimes it was a tad difficult to cover up the gifts I put in. I put multiple smaller gifts in, and the bag itself held up nice and was nicely festive. I would say you could hold nothing larger than a 24 oz water bottle in here, so this bag would be appropriate for one gift of a similar size or multiple smaller gifts.I did find it a bit difficult to find non-secular gift bags that I felt were a bit more secular, but I selected this pack as it seemed to fit the majority of my needs. Each bag came in sets of threes, so I could use the same one three times, and I had eight bags to give away. The rest will be used next year, as I expect them to hold up. All in all, I would buy these again!
