It's leather and nicely made. It is smaller than it looks on the video. It will not fit my Android S9+ in the outer pocket (shows a phone easily going into the pocket on the video) . Doubt a regular S9 would fit either. It is sturdy. I'm sure it will hold up. Just not as pretty in person as it seemed in the pictures or video, but that just may be me. It's not ugly by any means, it's just a simple design. If you're looking for a good quality leather purse that will be reliable, that most likely will last year's, with a simple no frills design that is not too heavy (considering its real leather) then this is your purse.The design of the bag is pretty and it stands by itself. The downside of that is it is very stiff but acceptable. The main reason I am giving it 3 stars is because it has been used (obviously a return). The inside of the bag is dirty and there was a CVS brand bandage in one of the compartment. Gross! They should have at least checked the inside of the bag, cleaned it and remove whatever was in it before packing it to ship. In a way I was glad they didn't because it indicated it's been used. I ordered a brand new one, and I expect to receive a brand new bag.Thanks goodness for a hassle-free returns. I sent it back.I have a number of expensive leather designer purses, but decided to try this one as it looked really nice in the picture. I debated about it for some time, but finally ordered it a few days ago. I'm truly impressed. It's a soft and supple leather with beautiful hardware. It looks and feels like a much more expensive purse than it is. There is no "off" smell, nor are there any visible defects. the inside is roomy and there are plenty of useful pockets inside and out. I purchased the black one, and will likely get another color, as well as a wallet or two from the same company. If you're on the fence about it I'd suggest buying it.I would consider this a similar style purse to Dooney & Bourke. It's a pretty black with tan handles. The leather feels real, but t it's not a soft leather. The purse stands up well. There's no softness or slouch. It has handles only, which are a little small for using as a shoulder bag, so it's more of a carry bag. It's a little smaller than I would like. Had it been a little bigger and had a shoulder strap, I would be very happy. I would say it's medium size. It's well made and seems very durable, plus it looks super stylish and classy.
